The chorus of women villagers presented folk music. Young girls presented folkloric dances and children presented folk music. METU TFC Denizli Region presented folk dances. The regional foods of the region of Ivanovo are offered to the wide audience and the guests. The mayor of Ivanovo has done the opening of the event and has made conversations with the project representatives and contributor representatives coming from Turkey. A concensus about the continuousness of the dialogue between students within the framework of the project is established. The music group of METU Turkish Folkloric Society performed the folkloric dances of the region of Karedeniz and Denizli with examples from folk songs of Anatolia and Balkans. This will pave the way for future communication, cooperation and joint actions. 3- Grassroots organizations in Turkey and Bulgaria will establish links with each other and with University and youth networks. 4- New contacts will be established among experts, academics and musicians, which will form a basis for them to take joint actions in future. 5- Awareness of the wide ranging target group (including grassroots) on folklore will be raised and this will, in turn, increase mutual understanding.
