SPECIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

01 The work shall be completed within three month from the date of agreement subject to the condition of Issue of material from store center in due time.

02 Variation shall be admissible only with the approval of the committee. 03 The work shall be carried out in accordance with Indian Electricity Act and Rules & per

construction manual of U.P. Power Corporation Ltd. and RESSPO Schedule. 04 All the material of standard quality associated with the work shall be provided by the contractor

as per tender specification. 05 Any loss and damage shall be recovered from the contractor account. 06 No T & P shall be supplied by the department at any cost. The transportation arrangement for

safe carriage of materials shall be made by the Contractor at his own risk. 07 All general conditions of contract for execution of work will be governed as per form ‘A’ (General

condition for the supply of plant and the execution of work in U.P. Power Corporation Ltd.) 08 The work shall be carried out under the direct supervision of junior engineer and Sub divisional

Officer concerned. 09 Department will not be responsible for any accident, casualties and loss occurred at the time of

execution of work. The contractor shall be fully responsible for the same. 10 The necessary permit for shutdown etc. will be given to the contractor by the representative of

the department as and when required for completion of work in a planned way. 11 The security @ 2% of the tender value shall be deposited by the contractor within 7 days of

receipt of information for finalization of tender/agreement in his favor which shall be released after 6 month from the date of completion of work. The security shall be in shape of FDR/TDR duly pledged in favor of Superintending Engineer. Electricity Distribution Circle, Unnao. The amount of earnest money deposited shall be adjusted towards security.

12 The income tax and other taxes will be deducted from the bill, if and as applicable. 13 Penalty @ ½% per week subject to maximum of 10% of the total value of contract will be levied

Thereafter mounting of new/repaired T/Fs on D/P/ Plinth including loading, unloading and safe carriage of the same from store center, Unnao to work site distance within 80 Kms. as per attached price schedule (Tender Form) are invited. Tender shall be received by the Superintending Engineer, Electricity Distribution Circle, Unnao up to 15.30 hrs. dated 24-02-2014 which shall be publicly opened on the same day at 16.00 hrs., in the presence of the tenders/ Representatives who may wish to be present. 2. Preparation of Tenders: Tender must be submitted on the attached from, any cutting or changes if done should be dully signed by the tenderer, tendered prices must be filled in figures.

3. Tender Performa: Tenderers are required to furnish their tender on the prescribed performa by filling all the replies of the condition. No tender shall be entertained which are not filed on the prescribed tender form.

4- Earnest Money: Tender must be accompanied by an earnest money amounting of Rs. 10000/- shape of FDR/CDR/TDR/Bank Draft/ Bank Guaranty is issued from any nationalized Bank of India & Pledged in favor of Superintending Engineer, Electricity Distribution Circle, Unnao.

5- Opening of Tenders: Tender bid part-I shall opened First and if earnest money is found in order Pre-qualifying condition are fulfilled only then the tender bid part-II shall be opened otherwise second part of the tender envelope shall not be opened &out right rejected.

6- Modification Prior to date of opening of tender: Modification in the specification if required will be made by amendment copy of which shall be furnished those who have purchased the tender specification.

7- Prices: The price mentioned of the price schedule thereof will remain firm & Firm in all respect. 8- Tender Rates & Taxes: The tenders are required to quote their rate for destination inclusive of all taxes as

applicable under rules accordingly. 9- Completion Period: Contractor shall make sure that above work will be completed within stipulated period. 10- Award of the contact: The purchaser does not pledge to accept the lowest of tender and reserve the right of

rejecting the whole or part of any tender as he may think fit without assigning any reason. 11- Any action on the part of tender to reserve the prices of to change the structure of price/prices & withdrawal of

tender after the opening within the validity period may result in rejection of tender and also debarring him from submission of tender to Corporation along with forfeiting the earnest money.





1- The work shall be completed within 6 months from the date of agreement/date of availability of transformer at store center.

2- Variation shall be admissible only with the approval of the committee. 3- The work shall be carried out in accordance with Indian Electricity Act and Rules & per

construction manual of U.P. Power Corporation Ltd. And RESPO Schedule. 4- Any loss and damage shall be recovered from the contractor account. 5- No T & P shall be supplied by the department at any cost. The transportation arrangement for

safe carriage of transformer shall be made by the Contractor at his own risk. 6- All general conditions of contract for execution of work will be governed as per form ‘A’

(General condition for the supply of plant and the execution of work in U.P. Power Corporation Ltd.)

7- The work shall be carried out under the direct supervision of junior engineer and Sub divisional Officer concerned.

8- Department will not be responsible for any accident, casualties and loss occurred at the time of execution of work. The contractor shall be fully responsible for the same.

9- The damaged/Burned Transformer will be replaced within 72 Hours, as per instruction of CMD, UPPCL.

10- The necessary permit for shutdown etc. will be given to the contractor by the representative of the department as and when required for completion of work in a planned way.

11- The 90% payment shall be made on receipt bill against the works completed subject to availability of fund and remaining 10% will be retained as security which will be paid after 6 month from the date of completion of full work.

12- The income tax and other taxes will be deducted from the bill, if and as applicable. 13- The deposited security money shall be released after six months of satisfactory performance after

handing over the work to the concerning Division/Sub division. 14- Penalty @ ½% per week subject to maximum of 10% of the total value of contract will be levied
