India First Leadership Talk Series -Episode 1
MHRD Innovation Cell (MIC), DKM College for Women is organizing "India
First Leadership Talk Series" (Facebook live talk program) as per IIC calendar
on 8th January 2019 at 2.00-3.00 p.m in bramaputraHall of our college.
Shri. Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group was the speaker for
this session. About 300 Students and 15 faculties participated in the live session.
His lecture read a message that, if you enjoy your work, your work
will be your life and you will not feel the burden on the 9 to 5 clock. He agrees that
he has adopted Google‟s work environment into his company. “A person when s/he
gets up must not be burdened by work but be enthusiastic about it”. One must
find pleasure in their work and be self-aware whether they wish to become a
teacher or an entrepreneur. Coming to the current markets, he believes that
competition is the only way for best outcome for a business model and that
collaboration to some extent whether its outsourcing or sharing work, it is
necessary. Mr. Anand Mahindra ends on a note inviting aspiring entrepreneurs to
appeal to his company which supports and recognizes innovation in their
“cooperate garage”. In which he has set up on the morals of autonomy,
empowerment and sharing of wealth.
Participants were very much motivated by the talk given by Sri
Mahindra, Mahindra Group of Companies. His thought provoking speech was
enlightened the students to become a successful entrepreneur in future. This
training session will optimize the students to search the unexploited resources,
generate self employment and a self sufficient economy. Feedback of the session
was given by the students. They felt it was very much useful and informative. They
felt that they have got little idea about leadership and types of business
