DMTS-9000 – Increase overall testing coverage and capacity by increasing performance predictability and product quality, and reducing time to market and cost.
Multi-parameter test design
Advanced load characteristics
Streamlined testing
In-depth performance analysis
DMTS™-9000UMTS Network TesterThe Dyaptive DMTS-9000 is designed to provide increased test coverage and capacity for UMTS wireless network operators and network equipment vendors.
Generate real-world load profiles of mixed voice and data traffic in UMTS environments
Load networks with up to 1000 software-defined test terminals, and up to 64 sectors, or up to a total of 80 sector carriers with support for 3 carriers per sector, to increase test coverage, test base stations and other network equipment to full capacity
Locate and diagnose load-related problems with detailed logs, statistic and performance analysis tools
Schedule and automate testing to increase test capacity
Roll out UTRAN products and services faster
Key Features & Benefits
Highly scalable, configurable and upgradeable system ensures simple capacity expansion
Based on Software-defined Radio Technology
Tests are repeatable, deterministic and behave predictably
Spend time testing instead of configuring equipment or building internal tools
Reduce test cycle time through improved efficiency and automation
High terminal density in reduced footprint
Integrated Test FunctionalityThe DMTS-9000 integrates functionality from multiple test devices to generate realistic, deterministic and repeatable load. It is comprised of a base system and applications that can be added:
Bulk Call Generator Generate a load using a variety of call models and traffic types, with hundreds of STTs and the equivalent of 100,000 BHCA
Define tests and load on either a group or individual test terminal basis
Create repeatable and deterministic load
Mix of terminal and traffic types, traffic content, call arrival and duration models
Create handover scenarios (soft, softer, hard)
Enhanced Applications
Channel Emulator Control radio channel impairment
Base System
Data Application Simulator
Data Application Simulator
Generate data (FTP, HTTP, Email (POP3/SMTP), UDP) for mixed voice and data service performance measurement and integrated behavior analysis
Correlate behavior across the different layers of all protocols
Set custom Quality of Service (QoS) configurations
Performance Analyzer
Analyze performance with a powerful visual data mining tool
Enable correlations between logs generated from various levels across all protocol stacks
Provides mobile user perspective
Software Defined Radio (SDR)The DMTS system employs a unique application of SDR technology to effectively put a city in your lab. Using SDR, the DMTS provides software-defined test terminals, including RF conditions and a variety of voice and data traffic. The DMTS-9000 system allows users to control and coordinate mobile behavior and RF conditions, as well as define and run tests that are completly repeatable. Because the system is software based, it is easily upgradeable and reconfigurable, as well as scalable – protecting customers’ investment in their test system.
ConfigurationsThe DMTS-9000 can be deployed in multiple configurations. It can scale from an introductory system supporting saturation of each sector-carrier (cell) up to 120 mobiles and connectivity to 64 base station sectors simultaneously. The DMTS-9000 may support up to 3 carrier frequencies per sector using a single Dyaptive transceiver port.
