challenge: Celebrate the marriage of good taste and good health in Birds Eye’s revolutionary in-bag steaming technology. Think of it as frozen food convenience and just-picked flavor, newly wed!

inspiration: A simplified explanation of the “steamed to perfection” process using images to showcase fast and easy freezer, to micro, to table veggie preparation. Our photo album includes a series of candids capturing fresh-off-the- cutting-board crispness in a line that demonstrates this steamy love story.

challenge: Educate consumers about the product and position as “sink solutions”, while designing a system that extends to all communications, accommodates up to eight languages, and encourages customers to step up to the top of the line.

inspiration: Communicate primarily through visuals, instead of words.

challenge: Johnsonville’s goal was to plump up sales with savory packaging. Appetite appeal was key as we sought to capture the flavorful experience this brand delivers.

inspiration: A die-cut oval label helped focus the eye on key messages while lip-smacking photography conveyed “hot off the grill” taste. We also upped the profile of the Johnsonville logo because community, friends and family fun are what this brand is all about.

challenge: Reposition the Project Pro line as high-tech, professional-grade pressure washer accessories.

inspiration: Use motion, metallic inks and close-up product illustrations to appeal to pride while selling performance.

result:Secured placement of four products in Sears.

challenge: Update a better-for-you snack brand to appeal to the entire family and allow for expansion into a variety of other product offerings.

inspiration: Youthful whimsy and a touch of handmade character let consumers know these all-natural snacks are sure to please. Colorful orbs differentiate flavors while playful photography and illustrations create appetite appeal.

challenge: Create an upscale, gender neutral package for sporting goods and specialty retailers. Communicate the superior full body sensing technology as well as encourage consumers to trade up within the line.

inspiration: To explain the new technology, show the unique hand sensors both on the product and in-use. Use color and typography to support the premium positioning and to differentiate between the various levels.

inspiration: Delicate rice paper simulations convey an Asian sensibility while styled food presentations suggest endless tasteful and colorful possibilities.

result:An unprecedented, multi-region rollout launched the line in Costco and Sam’s Clubs simultaneously delivering a 25% sales boost.
