  151. 151. SummaryIn short, by the processes of transcription andtranslation, proteins are made. First, in transcription, RNApolymerase is used to read a DNA strand and make a mRNAcopy. Once the mRNA strand moves from the nucleus to thecytoplasm, the second process, or translation, occurs. Intranslation, a ribosomes reads the mRNA strand, makes a tRNAstrand, and then makes the proper amino acids. Finally, whenthe amino acids are all combined by peptide bonds and arecoiled and twisted together, a protein is made!
