What is Lasik ?Lasik (Laser Vision Correction) is a procedure
that uses the ‘Cool’ light from an Excimer laser
to reshape the inner tissue of the cornea.
Am I a good candidate for Lasik ?
How is Lasik done ?
You are eligible to undergo Lasik if
Your age is > 18 years
You have stable refractive error for > 1 year
Sufficiently thick corneas for safe ablation
Your retina is normal
You are not pregnant or breast feeding
You have no health issues affecting your eyes
Imagine Being able to wake up to a
clear view of the world, to be Free of
depending on glasses & lenses, to be
able to see Sharp & Clear, from the
moment you wake up till the
moment you go to the bed.
It isn’t a dream anymore
Step 1:
Using a instrument called
microkeraotme, a thin flap of
corneal tissue is made & folded.
Step 2 :
The excimer laser is applied
which reshapes the corneal
tissue
Step 3 :
The corneal flap is then placed
back into its original position and
allowed to dry. Antibiotic drops
are applied & eyes are covered
with a dark goggle. Both the eyes
are usually treated together.

We are an ISO 9001:2008 certified organization
Each patient undergoes a thorough pre Lasik
evaluation
Eligibility criteria are strictly followed
We have a rigid control over the environmental
factors like sterilization, humidity and tempera-
ture to maintain good quality standard.
The lasik is done by Allegretto Wave Eye Q ( 400
HZ, US FDA approved machine )
we are certified excellent grade by AMC
mumbai ( 1st search given to any hospital
in mumbai )
Customized treatments for corneal irregularities
Corneal Wave front guided treatments,
Retreatments for decentered ablations
Wavefront optimized ablation giving better quality
of vision.
Fastest ever speed - 400 HZ - reduces the healing &
recovery timing giving better stability
of post operative results
Smallest spot size - shortens
healing time & provides precise results
Perfect pulse technology - ensures that the
entire treatment & each pulse of the laser beam is
completely controlled.
A breakthrough technology
for safe lasik if you have thin
corneas or dry eyes.
For Lasik Evaluation we have Topolyser (FDA approved) Epilasik
For Lasik we are equippedwith Unique features ofthe machine :

FAQS
Will my number become zero ?
The aim of the treatment is to remove dependence
on glasses or contact lenses. In most cases they are
eliminated.
Is Lasik Painful ?
There is no pain during the surgery, since
anaesthetic eye drops numb your eyes, Although
some patient may experience mild discomfort or a
pressure sensation during the procedure.
How long does it take to recover ?
lt takes 2-3 days to recover & vision will improve
there after.
When can I resume my normal activities ?
Normal activities can be done after 4-5 days.
However swimming & water sports can be resumed
after 1 months.
How long does the procedure take ?
The surgery usually takes only 10 min.
Is the treatment permanent ?
Yes. You will, however need reading glasses as you
approach presbyopic age.
Will I require multiple treatments ?
In order 94% of cases a single treatment is enough.
In a few cases, a second ‘enhancement’ treatment
may be required to achieve optimum vision
Can both eyes be done on the same day ?
Lasik can be done on both the eyes on the s a m e
day one after another.
What are the risks associated with Lasik ?
Studies suggest back the incidence of minor
difficulties such as dry eyes, night time glare, halos,
fluctuating vision, may be experienced in first few
days, but these are temporary
Is Lasik Safe ?
Yes. Lasik is quiet safe & effective. But there is no
surgery or surgical procedure that can guarantee
perfect result. As with any surgery or medical
procedure, there are possible risks. Your Doctor will
give you detailed information about Lasik’s poten-
tial risks, complications & side effects & you should

Clear, natural vision without the hassles &
inconvenience of corrective lenses.
Expanded career opportunities- police officer,
firefighter, pilot & professional athlete.
Better vision for recreational sports. especially
water, winter & contact sports.
More natural appearance without glasses.
No more fears about being incapacitated in an
emergency if lenses are lost.
Wider scope of peripheral vision than glasses
provide.
May be safer for eye health than wearing contact
lenses for an extended period of time.
Improves appearances & self-esteem.
Quality of Vision – The Visian ICL produces not
only improved visual acuity (20/20 vision is consid-
ered normal visual acuity), but also excellent visual
quality. Many patients experience the "Wow" factor
when they experience the immediate improvment
in the quality of their vision.
Biocompatibility – Collamer, the 100 percent
pure collagen copolymer lens material of the Visian
ICL, is not viewed as a foreign object by the body's
immune system.
Versatility – The Visian ICL offers a wider
treatment range for myopia than LASIK and PRK
procedures.
Simplicity – Unlike traditional contact lenses,
once the Visian ICL is implanted in the eye, there is
no additional maintenance needed.
Safety – After implantation in over 55,000 eyes
worldwide, the Visian ICL has established a proven
track record of safety.
Lens Placement – The placement of the Visian
ICL makes the lens invisible to the patient and any
observer.
Removable – The Visian ICL was designed to be
permanently placed in the eye. However, the lens
can be removed if a patient's vision changes or if it
otherwise needs to be removed or replaced.
LASIK is a surgical procedure intended to r e d u c e
a person’s dependency on glasses or contact lenses
and not, as is usually thought, designed to totally
eliminate the spectacle power.
The accuracy of the post LASIK results is based on
many factors like pre-operative high myopia or high
astigmatism or corneas which are not perfectly
symmetrical. The power will reduce to the l e v e l
where you may not need to use glasses for over 85%
of the time, but some residual power is to be
expected.
