MOSAIC COASTERSUse 4” square bathroom tiles from a home & garden store to create decorative drink coasters.
TIPUse old ceramic cracked plates to make irregular shaped mosaics!
Flower Pot Mosaic
Work on one square at a time.
1 Once you have decided on a design or pattern, apply a coat of glue over the edge of the pot.
3 Mix a little bit of water with about a quarter cup of powdered grout. It should be the consistancy of thick pancake batter. Make small batches at a time! This may take some trial and error and experimentation.
5 Let the grout dry for twenty minutes. Rub off the grout from the top of the tiles with a sponge.
2 Carefully place the tiles evenly separated from each other. Take your time until the edge is completed. Let the glue dry for a few hours.
4 Rub the wet grout over the tiles so they fill the spaces in between the them. Grout above and below the edge of the pot too.
