Please read below instructions on how to obtain your Student Aid Report (SAR) and how to
submit the PDF version of your current SAR:
o DO NOT copy and paste the SAR information onto the email. o DO NOT submit an HTML version-New o DO NOT convert an HTML version to PDF-New o DO NOT submit a Spanish SAR (this changes the version)-New o DO NOT print and scan the document o DO NOT fax to an email (this changes the format) o MUST be downloaded directly from the FAFSA website as an
electronic file (PDF format) o MUST contain ALL pages the SAR indicates (along with its cover.
See SAR image below in step 6) o ENSURE data on your SAR matches the data you have entered on
your application (Name, DOB, SSN)-New o MAC USERS: Due to difficulties MAC users have encountered, we
encourage you to use a PC-New

How To Get Student Aid Report (SAR)
The following instructions may help you obtain your SAR report from the FAFSA website.
Step 1 of 7
Open the FAFSA website at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Click on the orange "Start Here" button.
Step 2 of 7
Manage your computer’s “pop-up blockers.”
Option 1 Disable your computer’s “pop-up blocker” while you are browsing the FAFSA website as follows.
o Internet Explorer: Click on Tools-->Pop-up blocker-->Turn off pop-up blocker
o Mozilla Firefox: Click on Tools-->Options-->Content-->then un-check "block pop-up windows"
Option 2 Change your computer’s “pop-up blocker” settings to always allow pop-ups from the FAFSA website (www.fafsa.ed.gov).

Enter your personal information. Click on the "Next" button.
Step 4 of 7
View the information on the 2012-2013 tab. Click on the "View Processed Information" button.

Enter your PIN. Click on the "Next" button.

Your SAR will appear in a new window and will look like the image below.
Internet Explorer Note: If the new window is blocked, try pressing Ctrl+Alt as you click on the the "Next" button in Step 5 of 7. Oftentimes this will override a pop-up blocker.

Your SAR can be submitted to our Scholarship Program via email:
Email o On the toolbar directly above your SAR, click on the floppy disk icon that
looks like this: o Chose a document name and location that you will remember. o Attach the document to an email and send it to our office at:
