MAN engines are the optimum drive units for commercial vehicles of all kinds.
In urban traffic and distribution their economy and uncomplicated Pure Diesel
Technology ensure access to inner cities protected by environmental regulati-
ons. For long-haul transport there are powerful and economical engines with
ratings up to 680 hp (500 kW). And in construction and special-purpose vehi-
cles MAN engines are convincing in terms of robustness and power. All ranges
are available to meet exhaust-gas regulations from Euro 3 to EEV. An extra be-
nefit for vehicle manufacturers: the installation space is the same whatever
exhaust-gas regulation has to be met.
