Exercise 2: Launching Test SessionsOverviewCitrix Director provides-real time information on active user sessions, however, because this is a lab environment, there is no session data. The LaunchSessions.ps1 script uses the Citrix Labs SFLauncher.ps1 script to launch XenApp & XenDesktop sessions so that information will be displayed in Director. For more information on the SFLauncher.ps1 script, click this link:

http://blogs.citrix.com/2014/06/12/scripting-update-automating-the-launch-of-hdx-sessions-through-storefront-and-NetScaler-gateway-integrated-with-storefront/

In this exercise, you will:

Execute the LaunchSessions.ps1 Script

Step by step guidanceEstimated time to complete this exercise: 5 minutes.

Step Action1. On the Student Desktop, switch to the Remote Desktop Connection Manager.

2. Double-click AdminConsole to connect.

The AdminConsole virtual machine is used in this lab to launch test sessions and to play recorded sessions.

3. From the AdminConsole Start Screen, click the Desktop Tile.

4. From the AdminConsole desktop, right-click LaunchSessions and click Run with PowerShell.

The LaunchSessions.ps1 script executes the SFLauncher.ps1 script multiple times to
