Research definition, characteristic and goal, type and research process,

research problem determination, variables and hypothesis, data collection, data analysis,

tools and statistics for higher level of data analysis such as meta-analysis and advanced

statistics, proposal and research report writing, research evaluation, research application,

research translation, ethics of researchers, and research techniques in health sciences.

Definition and philosophies of health and health system, health care as

systems, complexity, adaptability and integration challenges, structural components of

health system, their interrelationships and relevant policy issues, theoretical and

historical framework to guide designing the health systems and governance, roles of

government and consumers in health systems, external environment and factors such

as social, cultural, and politics that impact on the functions of health system and health

services delivery. Health system performance, health system reform

papers, initiating theoretical framework applied to solve problems in students’ local

areas or workplaces. Presentation is performed in English.

management related to research proposal with an emphasis on developing innovative

tools for solving problems in students’ local areas or workplaces. Presentation is
