At KBR, Zero Harm means a culture in which we make safety conscious decisions that are governed by personal values. We make a personal choice to work safely and to look out for each other in a true interdependent culture. A Zero Harm culture embraces the courage to care through intervention and engagement in safety related conversations with our peers.

All incidents are intolerable, and there is a desire and commitment to make sure we do everything in our power to avoid any situation that could put our employees, subcontractors or customers at risk of being hurt. At KBR, we are striving to create a culture in which everyone truly realizes that an injury incident is not a statistic but rather a person who was negatively affected by a shortcoming within our organizational system, to which we all contribute.

Digital Project Delivery

From project definition through construction and operations and maintenance systems implementation, we help you reduce complexities, interfaces, costs and risks by bringing alignment between physical and digital assets to maximize value through the project and asset lifecycle.

Remote Operations Monitoring

Whether to improve plant uptime using system integrity and process reliability or maximize profit using optimization or what-if analysis, KBR’s InSite® offers solutions to effectively real time monitor your plant remotely and help you take timely and appropriate actions.

Digital Maintenance

Digital solutions applied to maintenance can help our customers improve asset reliability and reduce operating expenditure by predicting equipment failures, streamlining supply chains, reducing unplanned and planned maintenance and increasing production efficiency.

Supply Chain Management – Logistics & IoT Tracking

Optimization is performed with logistics simulation using third party proprietary software and then cloud services and IoT platform for the implementation, tracking and further optimization of the solution. Logistics & IoT Tracking solutions can be customized to meet your specific requirements. A typical solution comprises of many systems involved and always in-built with emerging technologies for transactions in the supply chain management.

Smart Safety

At KBR, we share your uncompromising commitment to safety. User-friendly, customizable smart safety apps, SafeSite and WorkRight, can help you considerably improve your site and employees safety using online incident reporting and wearable technologies. Together, with our technology partner, we have developed these apps enhanced with KBR’s safety data collected over 15 years from various projects and sites and by running analytics to identify major incident types.

Cognitive & Big Data Analytics

Cognitive computing is able to unlock the potential in all data – internal, external, structured, unstructured, voice and visual and will provide customers with possible recommendations for decision making. Similarly, the Big Data Analytics will help customers to predict the plant and project's outcome and disturbances using historical and real time data. The combinations of Cognitive and Big Data will not only predict the issue but also recommend the best possible actions to help mitigate the issue.

Cognitive and Big Data Analytics

Digital Twin - Object Engineering – By taking a data-centric approach to project execution, KBR helps develop object engineering visualizations that provide a quick and interactive way to track project performance. The result is a virtual twin of the as-built project with an operations and maintenance system built into it.

Supply Chain Management – e-Procurement–KBR uses our in-house developed online system, IPMS, for procurement, suppliers and subcontractor management and logistics. This system optimizes logistics and tracks equipment and material from suppliers all the way to dock and construction site by using IoT tracking (RFID tracking) and a mobile app. The system is also integrated with the mobile inspection app for material and equipment.

Smart Construction – KBR’s Construction group uses Advance Work Packaging, which improves craft labor productivity and predictability. Through Advance Work Packaging, our construction sequencing drives our engineering planning and helps to optimize the schedule and costs of construction. KBR has also adopted mobility at the construction site including managing punch list,

empowering the construction supervisor with remote access to documents and data, and the ability for craft workers to enter timesheets through apps.

Information Management and O&M System Readiness – With our Information Management partner, KBR offers a single point of responsibility for overall information management that manages project data and builds systems and associated data required for the operations and maintenance phase of the asset lifecycle.

Operator Training Simulations (OTS) – Through a fully integrated dynamic plant model, KBR develops pre-programmed scenarios to test conditions and provide virtual training.

Project Dashboards – Dashboards provide real-time tracking and actionable insights on project schedule, cost and man hours that help in real-time progress curve tracking, project health optimization, root cause detection and analysis in addition to on-time actions to help customers mitigate risks and improve project investment returns.

InSite® – With the help of InSite®, you can track key performance indicators that closely track your operations and equipment performance, helping with early detection of process event or equipment failure and allowing for real-time data analytics to help maximize production.

iOps Command Center – A cutting-edge, real-time centralized monitoring of your assets and collaboration environment from the multi-asset enterprise level down to equipment and department level across the entire value chain.

Reliability and Asset Management – We provide quantifiable results for your Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) needs. We will assess your needs and develop strategies using criticality ranking to determine if you need an inspection plan, failure-to-run, condition based maintenance, preventive maintenance or predictive maintenance strategy.

Predictive Maintenance – KBR’s Predictive Maintenance is based on industry available, first principle models and uses our maintenance engineering and execution expertise.

Work Order Management and Execution of Maintenance – KBR will help customers maximize maintenance system capability and drive craft productivity with a unique approach to traditional flowbased systems.

Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning (PAML) – Using our technology partner’s predictive analytics tools, KBR can help customers make probabilistic predictions about their operations, maintenance and projects performance.

Cognitive Computing – Using reference designs, standards, codes and best practices used on other projects combined with lessons learned from past projects, KBR can help our customers mitigate current and future projects’ risks related

to CAPEX, manhours, schedule, reliability and safety. Data, in all forms, is expanding as a resource to be utilized. Yet, the data explosion is outstripping the human capacity to understand the meaning hidden within that data. KBR, with our digital technology partner, will help you optimize processes that are infused with the cognitive ability to understand, reason and learn.
