HOTEL BOOKER CONFERMA HELP DESK LINKA new Conferma Helpdesk button has been added to the top navigation of Hotel Booker. This links out to the Conferma Help Desk website, containing a wealth of information and FAQ’s.

INCREASE CLOSE OUT LIMIT FOR ALLOCATION RATESThe close out period that was limited to a maximum of 14 days has been increased to 100 days.

CVV ACCESSIt is now possible to view the CVV of an unmasked card by clicking the link, there is now a separate audit performed if the Show CVV link is used.

MOVE BOOKING REFERENCE SEARCH ON CLIENT SELECT SCREENThe Booking Reference search box visible at the bottom of the Client Select pop up screen has now been moved to the top, above the Client listing.

REQUESTED BOOKINGS - SHOW ORIGINAL CONTENT PROVIDERFor bookings which fail or are rolled back and created as requested ‘Open Enquiries’, it will be possible to see the provider of the original booking channel e.g. Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo. It will also be possible to see the status of the original booking i.e. Failed or Rolled Back.

In the "Office Use Information" section of a Requested Booking, where the system provider is "Offline" it should state the original booking channel in parentheses. This will be the channel where the booking originally failed.

IMPROVED 'HOTEL FILTERING'

The filtering of hotel search results has been enhanced to allow filtering of hotels by the following: Custom Tags, Hotel Facilities, Preferred Status and Content Provider.

Filter OptionsIt is now easier to filter hotels on Tags. Just select the appropriate tags required and all hotels which contain the selected tags will display.

Hotel FacilitiesHotel Facilities have been conveniently placed inside a drop down list, there is a search box at the top of the list to narrow down search results. All facilities have been grouped together to make it easier to view.

Content ProvidersHotels can now also be filtered by the Content Providers that are available. Each Content Provider has a badge showing the number of hotels that may have rates for them. If multiple Content Providers are selected the filter results will show all hotels that have any of the selected content providers.

Preferred StatusHotels can now be filtered by Preferred Status, there is also a badge on each filter to show how many hotels will show if filtered by those options.

EXCLUDE 'OFFLINE' PROPERTIESA new option has been added under ‘Advanced Search Options’ that will exclude from hotel search results those properties that are not connected to an online content provider e.g. Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus or Direct Connect.

ENABLE EMAIL ADDRESS WITH A LENGTH OF OVER 50 CHARACTERSProfile email addresses can now be up to 100 characters in length.

BULK UPLOAD PREFERRED HOTELS VIA THE AGENCY ADMIN TOOL

A new option to bulk upload Preferred hotels via the Agency Admin Tool.

To do this a user will have to provide a .csv formatted file containing the following: Property Number - either of the following:

- Conferma Hotel ID- Galileo PN- Amadeus PN (City:Chain:PN)- Sabre PN

Hotel NameNote: all hotels must use the same property number type - a user cannot mix and match.

MINOR DATE PICKER ENHANCEMENTWhen an arrival date is selected using a date picker the selected month of the linked departure date calendar will automatically advance to the appropriate month.

PROPERTY RATINGS / TRAVELLER FEEDBACK Self-bookers and agent users can now leave ‘feedback rating’ for hotels within the Hotel Booker website. An overall feedback rating will show next to each hotel on the hotel search results screen.

When leaving feedback users have 5 categories Quality, Facilities, Cleanliness, Services and Location. For each category, the user can leave a rating out 5 with 0 being worst and 5 being highest.

Once there are sufficient rating against a hotel, when performing a Hotel search there will be an average rating shown against the Hotel. In brackets is the number of users who have left a rating and if the user hovers over this average it will then show a breakdown of the 5 categories and an average rating of each.

Mobile view

MESSAGING

New messaging functionality has now been added, enabling self-bookers to send short booking related messages to an agent, both from their mobile device or the Hotel Booker website.

To add/send a message a user can click the Messages link displayed at the top of the view booking page, next to the scratch pad (if you’re an Agent). Next to this link you will also see a badge showing the number of ‘unread’ messages.

Note: it is also possible to see the total number of messages by hovering over the ‘Messages’ link.

After clicking ‘Messages’ a pop-up window will appear prompting the user for their message details, from here it is also possible to see a history of booking messages.

As an agent or client user, it is also possible to see a list of all unread messages without first having to find a relevant booking.

Within the Navigation bar at the top of the page a new ‘Messages’ tab has been added. Clicking this link will direct a user to the ‘Unread Messages’ page.

The unread messages page will show all messages that have yet to be marked as read by a user.

Each message will appear with details of the user who sent it as well as a date and time stamp.

The booking related to each message can be viewed by clicking ‘View Booking’ in the bottom-left hand corner of the message.

Messages flagged as urgent will be marked with the ‘Urgent’ icon ( ) in the upper-right hand corner of the message.

Messages can be marked as read by clicking on the ‘Mark as Read’ Icon ( ) in the bottom-right hand corner of the message.

ENABLE ACTIVATION CODE CREATION (HOTEL BOOKER MOBILE)

Following the introduction of Hotel Booker mobile, users of Conferma’s Booking API or Single Sign on Service, who are not issued with usernames or passwords for Hotel Booker, will now be able to generate a ‘Mobile Activation Code’ to access their bookings on a mobile device.

An activation code can be created from the ‘My Profile’ page within the Hotel Booker website by clicking the ‘Generate an activation code for Hotel Booker mobile’ link.

An activation code will be generated each time the link is clicked. Only 1 activation code is valid at any one time, so generating a new code will invalidate any previous code.

NB: Activation codes are only valid for up to 1 hour from creation.
