IMAGEThe image shows a sheep in the field which can imply the old myth which says when people can’t sleep they count sheep's hence why the bed is in the field.

This image shows a sheep in the field and a bed in the middle.

The bed is quite old fashioned which gives the audience an idea who would use the bed.

COLOUR

The colour is dull and depressing which can show there is no hope of sleeping. It also shows sleeping can be dull and it takes a while for it to be dark, so the eyes aren’t properly shut yet.

The colour of the grass (dark green) signifies the lack of health and naturalism.

The colour block of dirty green can indicate the imbalance of the girl’s sleeping pattern.

CONVENTIONS

A convention of documentary advert is the title and the scheduling information has to be has to be at the bottom left especially for Channel 4, they always follow that rule.

The production logo has to be on the right hand side. So we can see the Channel 4 logo at the right.

USE OF LANGUAGE

There is not a lot of text so the colour block text has to be prominent so the audience can see what it says even by a quick look.
