Delivering Grins™ is a collection of uplifting programs that

help deliver smiles to children. UnitedHealthcare Children’s

Foundation (UHCCF) will partner with you to design a program

that meets your philanthropic and team building goals. We can

even help coordinate donations to your local charities.

Your group has the power to do good and deliver smiles to kids,

all while having a lot of fun. We invite you to find the Delivering

Grins program that is right for you and your team.

GIVE A SMILEGET A SMILE

There’s no better joy than seeing a child smile, except when it’s

two children smiling. You and your team can assemble and donate

Grins to Go® activity bags to children’s organizations across

the country. One child receives a great gift bag while another

receives a UHCCF medical grant. A win, win for all.

The number of bags you assemble is up to you. We’ll even

coordinate the donation of the bags to a local charity for you.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:Group size: 15-300+

Program Length: 1-3 hours

Program Location: Indoors

Can be a facilitated activity, assembly line production or a hybrid of the two.

SURROUND THEM WITHLOVE

Provide the gift of comfort. The UHCCF Cuddles to Go™

program allows individuals or a group to create soft fleece

tie blankets.

This simple and fun activity is great for virtual teams or in a

group setting. Each blanket can be donated to a child to keep

them warm and comforted.

LAUGHTERIS THE BEST MEDICINE

Laughter is contagious. The UHCCF Giggles to Go program

makes sure everyone enjoys the best belly laughs.

Get your team together to build Giggles to Go gift bags. You’ll

fill each bag with giggle-inducing gifts guaranteed to keep

kids laughing for hours. Bags can be donated to children’s

organizations in your community.

GIVE THEM THEIR WHEELS

The first feeling of freedom for a child often comes from riding

a bike — where pedals bring them far and the adventures many.

Now, you have the chance to provide this experience for a child.

Our Hope’s Flyers program provides your team with the

opportunity to work together to build a Van Dessel bike. The

bikes, as well as helmets, bike locks, and backpacks, can be

donated to the children’s organization of your choice.


Program Length: 1.5 - 2 hours

BE THESUPERHEROTHEY SEE

All children need a superhero to believe in. Why shouldn’t it be

you? Use your super powers and creativity to raise money for

UHCCF medical grants.

If you’re passionate about the UHCCF mission and have a fun

fundraising idea, Hope’s Heroes will work with you to make it

the best event possible. Consider a cake walk, online contest,

or Going Casual for Kids. No event is too small. Remember, a

little, done a lot, makes a big difference!

Delivering Grins program and its’ programs are offered exclusively through the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation (UHCCF), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides medical grants to help children gain access to health-related services not covered, or not fully covered, by their parents’ commercial health insurance plan. Families can receive up to $5,000 annually per child ($10,000 lifetime maximum per child), and do not need to have insurance through UnitedHealthcare to be eligible.
