    A Good Presenter prepares..

    Good presenting is not about perfection, but

    preparing well in advance to minimize the impact of

    mistakes on the day.

    The one part of preparation that has the greatest

    impact is practisingout loud, standing up, in front

    of someone (even if it is the mirror or

    the dog).

    Film yourself or record your voice.

    Practise not once but several times.

    Tricks to Answering Questions

    Try to repeat the question back to the audiencemember. This gives you time to think of an answer.

    Use sentences like I haven't thought about itbefore hmmm, ...

    Ensures the audience has heard it correctly. If youre not sure of the answer- say

    you will get back to them later after the

    session.

    Gives the questioner a chance to correctmisunderstandings.
