The months of January to June

at Don Bosco Oysterbay could

be said just days of work only.

As we had a major job from

the University of Dar es Sa-

laam, everybody was involved

in this work without any dis-

crimination. Finally we have

reached the end of this work.

We are very grateful to the staff and the students for their

whole-hearted cooperation and

“ever ready attitude” to work

at any time of the day. Several

volunteered after school hours

and Saturdays to give a helping

hand. Thank you.

Finally we finished the work

of the University on 19th July 2017. Thanks to everyone

who gave a helping hand!

with some of the ATC stu-

In the past months we were

blessed with the visit of several

Salesians starting with Rv. Fr.

Provincial , the Provincial desig-

nate, Economer , Youth Minis-

try delegate ,those who came

for the retreat and many more.

We are very grateful to all of

them for their visits, encourag-

ing words and the time they spent to visit our college and

workshops.

All the three Salesians had their

birthdays celebrated in these

past three months. These cele-

brations were used to show

our appreciation to the cele-

brants for their contribution in

running the affairs of the com-

munity and also to show the

talents of the students in sing-

ing, acting and dancing.

The first batch of 10 Tailoring

students graduated on 28th

April 2017. Ten girls who

graduated on that day were full

of smile as they achieved some-

thing.

We are very grateful to Via

Don Bosco for sponsoring the

machines of Tailoring Depart-

ment and to the PDO office for

making it a reality.

Congratulations dear girls for

your determination and sim-

plicity!

The Lions Club of Panorama,

given free of charge. They were

also provided with refreshment by the Lions. We are very

grateful to the Lions Club of

family of Mr. Prabh Singh for

this generous gesture.

In Don Bosco Oysterbay, two

parallel House Systems are

going on at the same time. The

students have a House System

with six Houses (Kilimanjaro,

groups are very enthusiastic

WORKERS’ DAY –2017

The Workers’ day of this year was very special as the families of our

staff too were invited to join the celebration. After the Holy Eucharist

presided over by Fr. Babu Augustine, we had games for the children

and for the staff. Finally the celebration ended with a sumptuous lunch

and matches.
