The Cluj Community Foundation implements a pilot-edition of a fundraising event that targets individual and corporate donors – the Cluj Donor Circle (CDC).

The CDC Network will be thus developed.  Locally implemented under The Funding Network label, in partnership with the Association for Community Relations and Transylvania College, the CDC event brings a new approach in fundraising, reuniting donor groups who join their efforts and support projects from various areas.  Selected by the Cluj Community Foundation and included in a brochure, these projects are presented in public and donors pledge to support them.  In the first edition of the CDC event we will raise funds for three projects (minimum fundraising objective: 6.000 lei/project).

Projects

A 22 Day Trip around CastlesThe project’s aim is to rediscover hidden castles and halls in Transylvania with the help of a bloggers’ team. Its members will collect materials from the field (video, photo) and will share their experience with the aim of raising awareness and interest for this valuable regional piece of cultural heritage.

Life CornerThe first nature spot – with plants and animals – will be organized at Transylvania College. This will offer children the opportunity of being exposed to a vivid environment right in the middle of their school, and also of learning and being also responsible, by taking on tasks such as feeding the animals.

A Chance for a Healthy FutureThe children frequenting one the social centers from Cluj will be offered for the first time in their life access to basic health and medical services. Thus, they will benefit of check-ups and primary medical care and will become aware in their turn about the importance of prevention, also becoming familiar with aspects concerning healthy nutrition.

Donors can choose to make an integral payment or in installments, with the following payment options:

1. Cash, during the event or at the office of CCF (Clolșca Steet no. 6/2);
