From initial enquiry to installation in less than five weeks. That was the story of a new 35,000 litre capacity tank, containing sodium hydroxide, for Southern Water’s WTW at Ashford.

Firstly, we manufacture GRP/thermoplastic dual-laminate tanks to BS 4994:1987 cat 1, 2 & 3 for the design and construction of vessels and tanks in reinforced plastics. Secondly, we offer pure thermoplastic tanks designed and built to CEN BS EN 12573 -2000 - the code for the design and manufacture of welded, static-non pressurised storage tanks.

We manufacture in a wide range of materials including polypropylene and high density polyethylene, polypropylene /GRP laminate, uPVC/GRP laminate and - at the more exotic end of the spectrum - materials including PVDF and PVDF/GRP laminate for specialist chemical applications.

As part of our service, Gee can advise on the choice of material of construction based on long term polymer test data, taking account of the specific characteristics of the chemical and the operating conditions in which it is to be stored.
