Ideal WavelengthThe absorption characteristics ofthe 940 nm wavelength is ideal forthe treatment of blood vessels and perfused tissue making it perfect for application in vessel closure and surgical procedures.Additionally, the low melaninabsorption allows transcutaneoustreatments on a wide variety ofskin types.

Diode Power Bar TechnologyThe Dornier Medilas D MultiBeam is equipped with Diode Power Bar technology which combines individual bars of high performance diodes into a single block with integrated cooling. The laser lightgenerated is focused by micro-optics and coupleddirectly into the laser fiber. The benefits are higherefficiency than other technologies and long operating life.

Lightguide Protection SystemBased upon proprietary technology, the Dornier Medilas D MultiBeam comes equipped with aunique Lightguide Protection System (LPS) that detects light emissions originating from excess heat at the fiber tip. When detected, the LPS system automatically turns off the laser toprevent damage to the fiber and tissue.

fibertom™ ModeEven cutting is produced using the fibertom™

mode by ensuring the temperature of the fibertip remains within set limits. This feature provides well controlled application of energywhile reducing carbonization and preventingdamage to the fiber tip.

Normal OperationA normal fiber tip achievingoptimal results on vein tissue layers.

No LPS Feedback Fibertip starts to char, absorbinglaser light and producingunwanted damaging heat.

LPS FeedbackTip has charred, triggeringfeedback and the LPS shutoff for protection.
