Welcome from the President of ACIPE ACIPE (The Scientific Association of Psychology and Education) is holding its 10th International Congress of Psychology and Education in the beautiful, culturally-rich city of Córdoba (Spain). In the past, we have always had large numbers of participants (around a thousand) interested in and registered for the congresses, and occasionally this number was much higher. This makes us both very grateful and increasingly aware of the responsibility of striving to keep up our high standards, from both an academic and professional points of view, as well as in the organization of the event. We owe this to all the participants, for their fidelity, collaboration and appreciation for this academic and social event run by our Association.

Up to now, one single person has been responsible for organizing the congress. For this year’s congress, to the impressive record of research and teaching experience of Rosario Ortega, (Professor of Educational Psychology who is one of the leading national and international researchers in the field), we have decided to add the skills of her departmental colleague, Dr Eva Romera. She is a recognised scholar who contributed greatly to the field of Developmental and Educational Psychology, considering the significant contributions she has published so far, which are sure to go from strength to strength in the future as she delves further into this field.

In this year’s congress, as always (and the Programme bears faithful testimony to this), we will attempt to address, together, a number of current topics of academic and professional interest, within the broad framework of Psychology and Education. To achieve this, we have the pleasure to welcome leading researchers, teachers and professionals from all over Spain, other countries in Europe and globally (such as the United States or Canada), in addition to those countries which are related to us by a common language (Latin America).

Although a certain degree of preference must be given to members of ACIPE, our congress, like all the other congresses held by this Association, which is a part of COSCE (Confederation of Scientific Societies of Spain), is aimed at and designed for the benefit of everyone who is interested in Psychology and Education, from undergraduate and postgraduate students to working professionals or those who work as full-time scholars or researchers. Over the three days of the congress, we want to encourage the establishment of genuine teaching and learning communities. Of course, there will also be time to strengthen bonds of friendship between colleagues and enjoy the charms and attractions of Cordoba and the surrounding area.

BENEFITS The International Congress of Psychology and Education is an event that is held every 3 or 4 years and brings together scholars and professionals in psychology and education, such as educational counsellors and teachers, interested in exchanging knowledge and experiences aimed at improving education.

In this 10th edition about 1,000 national and foreign delegates are expected to attend, in the wonderful setting offered by the city of Cordoba. It is, therefore, an excellent opportunity to introduce those attending the Congress to products and services related to the broad field of education, as well as other products and services of companies in the environment in which the Congress is held.

An opportunity to present new assessment and diagnostic tests, psycho-educational intervention programmes, advances in the field of information and communication technologies applied to education, tools to support educational needs, textbooks, training materials, and all those associations, companies and services related to the support, publishing, dissemination, research and improvement of education.

The Congress constitutes a magnificent platform to show the new advances in the educational field, with a multiplier effect on a large number of educational centres, teachers, counsellors and other education professionals throughout the country.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR SPONSORS Reservation procedure Applications for Sponsorship and/or Exhibition must be made filling the form at the end of this dossier. Application form and general conditions must be signed and sent by e-mail to the following address [email protected]. Once the request is received, a pro-forma or invoice will be issued and the payment of 100% of the Sponsorship must be made. Thus, the concepts requested in the form will be reserved. GENERAL CONDITIONS INTRODUCTION Alo Congress is responsible for the organization of the X International Congress on Psychology and Education, in Córdoba, Spain. TERMS AND CONDITIONS These General Terms and Conditions are binding for all sponsors constituting the trade agreement between the organizer and the firm Exhibitor / Sponsor. APPLICATION FORM FOR PARTICIPATION Only properly completed application forms will be considered to participate. Applicants will be informed with a letter of acceptance or rejection to their applications. In case of acceptance, the sponsors are bound by the terms and conditions listed in the prospectus and / or the contractual agreement. OBLIGATIONS AND RIGHTS OF THE SPONSOR Registration involves the complete acceptance of the sponsors regulations. Any violation of these regulations may lead to the immediate revocation of the right to participate in the Congress without compensation or refund of amounts already paid or payment of damages to the sponsor. The sponsor can only submit materials, products or services described in the request to participate. Payments will be made in accordance with the conditions listed in the brochure. If the exhibitor / sponsor does not make its payment on time, the organizer will be authorized to terminate the contract or to withhold confirmation of acceptance, determine other arrangements for the stand / sponsorship items or seek compensation for breach of contract. OBLIGATIONS AND RIGHTS OF THE ORGINIZER The organizer is committed to allocating sponsorship according to the preferences indicated by the applicants. Applications will be considered in the order of reception of the forms accompanied the corresponding payment. The organizer reserves the right to offer any sponsorship item that has not been purchased on the eve of the Congress to a different firm, without obligation to

provide compensation to the exhibitor / sponsor who did not show up. INSURANCES The organizer does not insure the equipment and exhibition materials that the exhibitor installs. Under no circumstances will be held responsible for lost, damage or destruction to the equipment, goods or property of the sponsor. The sponsor is responsible for its exposed material should not block corridors, neighboring stands obstructing or damaging the facilities or equipment leased. It is requested to exhibitors to leave enough space to ensure a good view of the surrounding stands clearance. The use of flammable materials is not allowed. You must install the equipment exposed or demonstrated in strict compliance with security measures. CANCELLATION OF THE CONGRESS If Congress cannot be performed or it is postponed by force majeure or for reasons not attributable cases of gross negligence, Alo Congress is not liable for damages, costs and / or losses incurred by the sponsors / exhibitors congress, such as transport, accommodation, materials or other financial losses responsibility. Alo Congress shall only be liable in the context of due diligence in accordance with local laws. Alo responsibility of Congress - for any legal reason - is limited to cases of neglect by gross negligence. RESPONSIBILITY Alo Congress will only be liable in the context of due diligence according to local legal provisions.
