Article title
Main image
The double page spread is laid out evenly with an image of ‘Diddy’ taking up half of the spread.
And the text filling the remaining half
•This could perhaps mirror the balance of different enterprises that diddy is involved in.
•The even layout creates a balance allowing the audience to have text to read without loading large amounts and subsequently losing images to flick over
The double page spread follows the conventional ‘c’ pattern eye flow
This starts at the slug passes through the main image and resolves on the contributors
How is the reader addressed
The magazine takes on an autobiographical tone.
While this does not allow reach out to the reader as a close friend, it still allows the content of the article to be given across
This suggests that the reader is addressed more as a fan than a friend keeping with
the formality of the article
“for nearly two decades he’s soley been hollywoods biggest competitor in terms of generating fame”
How is the artist presented?
The image shows “diddy” in a relaxed posture, this creates a less formal feel , drawign the reader in
The image shows diddy in a suit, this reflects the business side of his persona
The black and white colouring gives a classy feel and emphasises his status as he has disassociated himself from the typical gangster image that comes with hip hop
How does the DPS match the cover?
Although Diddy is not the main artist on the cover, the colour scheme is constant with the use of red, white and black.
• The images both are in black and white which creates a sense of professionalism and yet again moves away from the “thug life” image associated with Hip-Hop.

• Because of this the reader does not need prior knowledge
