Double Page Spread Draft…

Located on the left is my groups first draft of a double page spread. It has been laid out in a very formal manor. This makes it catch the readers eye and entices them to read the article.

One piece of critic my group received on this first draft is that the white background makes the whole double page spread look a bit plain. This therefore means it is not as effective as it could be.

Located on the left is my groups second double page spread draft. It has been laid out in the same way as before just with only a few small things edited such as the colour of the texts.

One piece of critic my group have been given for this draft is that thereis a big open space located bottom right which needs filling. After a discussion with the group, we decided to add a small image to fill in this space. (The image hasn’t been added yet).

Located on the left hand side is my groups third and final draft. This shows our double page spread which is set out in again a very simple but formal way.

My group decided to keep the layout of it the same the whole way through as we believe this way the most effective layout we could achieve.

One piece of critic we received as a group is that the text might be a little on the small side. To resolve this rather big issue, we would cut out part of the article in order for us to be able to make the text a bigger size meaning it would be clearer for the reader.
