Doubt: A Parable
Cast Bios
Kendra Augustin (ASM/Understudy Mrs. Muller) is a senior theatre major in the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences. She is thankful for the knowledge she has gained by being at the college as well as the opportunity to grow as a creative human being.
Jane Duncan (Sister Aloysius Beauvier) is an adjunct instructor in the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences and a full-time staff member at NSU’s Division of Student Affairs, Office of Undergraduate Student Success. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Acting degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and her bachelor’s degree in theatre from the University of Dayton, and will complete her Ph.D. in Theatre Studies from Florida State University this spring. Duncan is an associate artistic director and dramaturg for The Promethean Theatre, the professional theatre in residence at NSU and worked as a dramaturg for Florida Stage in 2009, 2010, and 2011. Her favorite past roles include Harper in Angels in America: Millennium Approaches, Artie in Eleemosynary, and various Shakespearean women. Doubt is her acting debut in South Florida.
Stacy Gaspard (Mrs. Muller) is thrilled to be part of the cast of Doubt. She was a part of the cast of the college’s production of A Year with Frog and Toad and assistant stage manager for the college’s production of Dead Man Walking. She has always been involved with theatre one way or another during her college years. Last year, she attended New York University’s Tish School of the Arts as a participant of Spring in New York. She is currently a double-major in theatre and communications, seeking a minor in Spanish, in the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences. She enjoys theatre, music, and dance and hopes to expand and mature as an artist. She sends thanks to her family, friends, and mentors for supporting her and encouraging her to do what she loves.
Chris Guzzardo (Father Brendan Flynn) was born in New York and grew up in South Florida. He graduated from Nova High School and entered the U.S. Marine Corps in 1994, in which he served for 11 years. He graduated with an AA in Mass Communication from Broward College in December 2005. He is currently in the process of completing his bachelor’s degree in theatre at the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences. Since 2009, he has been a member of The Royal Chessmen, a South Florida Stage Combat Troupe, with which he has performed in more than 20 live combat chess performances for renaissance festivals in Hollywood and Fort Myers, Florida. He has had the opportunity to work with The Promethean Theatre for its last two productions. He hopes you enjoy this performance and its story.
Jaimie Kautzmann (Sister James) is thrilled to be working with such a stellar cast and crew. She is currently a junior working towards a B.A. in Musical Theatre at the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences. Her other credits in the college’s

productions include Ruthless! The Musical, A Year with Frog and Toad, and Twelfth Night. She was most recently seen as Dyslexic Zombie Kid in Song of the Living Dead with The Promethean Theatre. She would like to thank her friends, family, and mentors for their continued support.
Kati O’Hearn (ASM/Understudy Sister Aloysius Beauvier) is thrilled to be a part of Doubt. A transfer student from Massachusetts, she is blessed to have found a home here at the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences. Her credits with the college’s productions include Festival of Student Works and Twelfth Night. She would like to thank director Margaret Ledford for her support, guidance, and this incredible opportunity. To the rest cast and crew of Doubt: Break a leg, and thank you for another great theatrical experience! Love to family and friends.
Jonathan Sanz (Stage Manager) is thrilled to be making his stage managerial debut in Doubt. He is a senior theatre and music double-major and has been active in the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences Division of Performing and Visual Arts, as well as The Promethean Theatre, since 2008. His credits for the college’s productions include Song of the Living Dead (Production Intern), Sorry, Wrong Number (Director), Downtown (Director), Stuffed Grape Leaves (Iram), Twelfth Night (Sir Toby Belch), Wonder of the World (Run Crew), A Year with Frog and Toad (Father Frog), Evil Dead the Musical (Production Intern), Naomi in the Living Room (John), Stop Kiss (ASM), Ruthless! The Musical (Mr. Thorn), The Importance of Being Earnest (Rev. Dr. Chasuble), Cannibal! The Musical (Townsintern), Dumb Show (Production Intern), The Proposal (Chubukov), Dead Man Walking (Clyde Percy), Baby (Alan),The Dining Room (Run Crew), Still the River Runs (Production Assistant), and Opening Night: Say it Somehow (Bottom). He will be appearing in the college’s fall production of Cabaret as Herr Schultz as well as in the college’s upcoming PEACE: A Holiday Concert. He would like to thank the division’s faculty and staff, Margaret, his family, and his awesome cast and crew for their love and support.
Britni Serrano (House Manager) is a senior theatre major in the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences and is so excited to be house manager for Doubt. She was last seen in the college’s production of Twelfth Night and A Year with Frog and Toad. She will be in the upcoming production of Cabaret as Fraulein Kost. Break a leg, everyone!
Gillian Smith (Sound Designer) is a music major in the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences. Her past sound design credits with the college’s productions include Ruthless! The Musical, A Year with Frog and Toad, Wonders of the World, Stop Kiss, and Festival of Student Works. She has operated the sound board for these shows in addition to The Importance of Being Earnest, Twelfth Night, and Dance Works. She is honored to be working with Margaret Ledford again, and thanks everyone for the opportunity.

Doubt: A ParableChris Waggoner (ASM/Understudy Father Brendan Flynn) is a junior theatre major in the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences and has performed and worked in many of the college’s productions. His previous credits include The Importance of Being Earnest (Ernest), Twelfth Night (Malvolio), Wonder of the World (Kipp), and Guys and Dolls (Sky Masterson). He has also performed in the college’s Festival of Student Works and IMPROV JAM. He is the president of NSU Improv and has recently been cast as Cliff in the college’s upcoming production of Cabaret. He would like to thank his director for the opportunity, his family for supporting him, and his grandmother.
Nora Yessayan (ASM/Understudy Sister James) is overjoyed to be a part of yet another production hosted by the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences. She is a senior studying psychology and theatre at the college. Her previous credits with the college’s productions include The Dining Room, Dead Man Walking, The Importance of Being Earnest, Stop Kiss, A Year with Frog and Toad, Wonder of the World, Festival of Student Works (2009, 2011), and Twelfth Night (assistant director). She has also interned for several productions with The Promethean Theatre. She would like to thank the cast and crew for such a great rehearsal experience.
