BACKYARDCOMPOSTINGTurn your organic waste into plant’s food. Asimple DIY workshop for a beginner to learnabout backyard composting from a realpractitioner and what’s better, even the toolsare provided. Duration: 1 to 1 ½ hours

HOUSEHOLD CLEANINGAGENT (ECO ENZYME)Eco enzyme is a complex solution produced by fermentation offresh kitchen waste (fruit and vegetable odds and ends), sugar(brown sugar, jaggery or molasses sugar) and water. It is darkbrown and has a strong sweet sour fermented scent. Eco enzymeis a multipurpose liquid and its numerous applications includeusages in homes, agriculture, animal husbandry and many otherareas. It is easy to make your own eco-enzyme at negligiblecost, producing an e�ective multi-purpose solution that isuseful and harmless to environment. Duration:1 to 1 ½ hours

URBAN FARMINGTHROUGH

AQUAPONICSFish feed plants, plants clean water for fish. Aquaponics is a more natural and e�cient form of home farming. It’s a symbioticsystem of fish and plants, where through the simple act of feeding fish, you can quickly grow a variety of plants for cooking.This cycle is the age-old way nature has developed to sustain itself. A simple introductory workshop to familiarize yourselfwith aquaponics and the benefits or starting your own customizable farm at home or at work. Duration: 1 ½ hours to 2 hours.Optional: A desktop Jar Jar aquaponics for each participant at a special discounted rate (O�er: RM59.00; Retail: RM89.90).

Upcycling is “the process of converting waste materialsor useless products into new materials or products ofbetter quality or for better environmental value”. Andit’s not just for people who love arts and crafts. Theseideas are worth trying (and will make your home a wholelot cooler). EMPOWERINGYOUNG LEADERSIN SUSTAINABILITY

SEEDBOMBSeed bomb or some would say, 'seed ball', is another funway for people to plant their own vegetation. Also knownas 'earth balls' or 'nendo dango' in Japanese, it can beused with various seeds, which is later rolled into a ball ofclay, together with another medium such as humus orcompost. This workshop encourages people to get closerto nature by using their own hands to feel the soil, makethe seed bomb and create love for the mother nature.

A main priority of enviromental NGO EcoKnights is to educate Malaysian youth on environmental issues to increase theirawareness for issues that a�ect their lives. But to truly have an impact on their environment these young adults need tofeel empowered enough to do something about the problems they see. EcoKnights delivers innovation end inspiring campson sustainability to youths of all ages. The camp modules are designed to ignite youths today with better understandingabout their roles in shaping a sustainable future. In short, EcoKnights builds tomorrow's sustainable leaders today.

SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTSOne of the more popular and introductory approach to engaging your employees in sustainability is through a speakingengagement with some of our top environmentalists in the organization. Subject matters can be organized in advance andour speakers are not just informative, they are also animated, backed with decades of experiences in delivering engagingand thought-provoking topics on sustainability. You can have your choice of speakers and topics arranged ahead of timeto kick-start your program. Duration:1 to 1 ½ hours. Prior booking is highly recommended to ensure that the speakers arenotified in advance.

There are many great environmental stories out there that tells inspiring journeys of individuals or organizations that aremaking positive changes in society. In addition, these stories also touch on their challenges and struggles, and themotivation to make this planet better than it is now.Audio visual tools such as films add a very emotional and urgent callfor action for your audience, and at EcoKnights® we are able to host a variety of film genre (documentaries, animation,short films, you name it) that can inspire and motivate your employees to understanding the complexities of the challengesin attaining sustainable development today. Films are always a powerful way to move people to take action, and we havethe right selection for you. Duration varies from 30 minutes to 3 hours. Kindly inquire within. SUNGAI BUNUS RIPARIAN ANDRIVERINE REHABILITATIONPROGRAMEcoKnights® is a partner to the Kuala Lumpur City Council’s Local Agenda 21 program on the rehabilitation of the Bunusriver which flows through the city center. Stretched over 9 km, the objective of this e�ort is to mobilize city stakeholdersin an inclusive program to improve the river water quality of Sungai Bunus from Class IV to at least Class III. This requiresa strategic multi-sectoral e�ort to address land use patterns and e�orts to improve the riparian and riverine areas of theriver. Through tree planting and river clean-up e�orts, smart placemaking and community engagement programs,EcoKnights® helps you bridge this gap by immersing your company in a national river restoration e�ort.
