In the Digital Concert Hall, fast online access is com-bined with uncompromisingly high quality. Together with its new streaming partner, Internet Initiative Japan Inc., these standards will also be maintained in the future. In the Digital Concert Hall, you always have the best seat in the house: seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. Our archive holds over 1,000 works from all musical eras for you to watch – from five decades of con-certs, from the Karajan era to today.

The live broadcasts of the 2016/2017 season also reveal the rich diversity of classi-cal music. There is much here to discover, such as the music of John Adams, the current Composer in Residence of the Berliner Phil-harmoniker. Many famous works from the or-chestral repertoire are also represented, such as symphonies by Mahler with chief conduc-tor Sir Simon Rattle, Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique with Andris Nelsons, Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde with Bernard Haitink, works by Bruckner with Christian Thielemann, Verdi’s Requiem with Riccardo Chailly, Dvořák’s Symphony “From the New World” with Gustavo Dudamel, and much more.

Another highlight is a guest appearance by Kirill Petrenko, chief conductor designate of the Berliner Philharmoniker, with Mozart’s “Haffner” Symphony and Tchaikovsky’s “Pathétique”. Opera fans are also catered for when Simon Rattle presents concert perfor-mances of Ligeti’s Le Grand Macabre and Puccini’s Tosca. In addition to the symphonic concerts of the Berliner Philharmoniker, there is a lot more to see and hear in the Digital Concert Hall Late Night concerts, education projects, concerts by youth orchestras, inter-views and documentaries.

You can access all of this easily on the device of your choice. Don’t miss anything – whether you’re at home or on the go, whether on the TV screen, on mobile devices or on your computer. The Berliner Philharmoniker are looking forward to your visit!
