Hiding Slides
Prevent slides from displaying during a presentation by hiding them.
You can hide a slide in any view. A hidden slide has a diagonal bar
across its number in Slide Sorterview or the Slides tab in Normal view.

Setting Slide Transitions and Timings
Slide transitions control the way each slide displays during a presentation.
Transition effects supply visual interest as one slide replaces another.
To apply any of more than 50 transitions, use the Slide Transition task pane.

Adding Action Buttons and Action Settings
Action buttons are predrawn buttons that perform specific actions, such as taking you to the next slide or taking you to a Web site’s home page.
After you choose a button and draw it on a slide, the Action Settings dialog box opens so you can customize action settings.

Recording Narration
Record narration to accompany a presentation when it will be delivered unattended.
You must have a microphone and sound card to record narration.
Voice narration takes precedence over any other kind of sound on a slide.

Rehearsing Slide Timings
Use the Rehearse Timings command to find whether you have allowed enough time for each slide.
This command displays the Rehearsal toolbar in Slide Show view to show elapsed time.
Use the toolbar to move from slide to slide, pause, or repeat a slide.

Annotating Slides During a Presentation
Use any of three marker options—Ballpoint Pen, Felt Tip Pen, or Highlighter—to mark on slides during a presentation.
Access the markers by clicking Pointer Options on the shortcut menu, or click Pointer on the popup toolbar.
Save the markings or delete them after viewing the presentation.

Using Package for CD
Use the Package for CD feature to organize presentation materials.
The packaged files can be copied to a CD-ROM or stored in a folder on a disk.
