CRYPTO VARIABLES
SELECTIVE AVAILABILITY (SA) - A METHOD USED BY DoD TODENY THE ENEMY ACCESS TO ACCURATE GPS SIGNALS BYADDING INTENTIONAL ERRORS TO THE TIMING AND ALMANACDATA.
ANTI-SPOOFING (AS) - A METHOD USED BY DoD TO ENSUREAGAINST ENEMY IMITATION OF GPS SIGNALS, THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY ENCRYPTING THE P-CODE, CREATING THEY-CODE.
CRYPTO VARIABLES ENABLE THE PLGR TO DELETE THEEFFECTS OF S/A AND TO DECRYPT THE Y-CODE.
CRYPTO VARIABLES ARE GENERALLY LOADED FOR 1 YEAR
