1980’s Music and Entertainment

Popular genres of 1980 were Pop, Hip hop, New wave and Hair Metal. The pop genre consisted of many well known artists such as Madonna, Michael Jackson, Prince, and Whitney Houston. Many of these famous musicians experienced more fame than even Elvis Presley and the Beatles. They revolutionized the fashion of the whole 1980’s by just their music videos.
