Favorite Similarity
● The fact that in the 80’s in general we learned so much and advanced so much as a society.
● In the book Winston Smith almost represents the decade because in a short period of time he learns so much about the society he lives in.
Favorite Difference
● In the year everyone was free to do what they wanted and no one watched you
● In the book they were stern on when things happen, you were watched, and you couldn’t have a mind of your own.
Conclusion
● The year and the book has a lot similarities and differences.
● Both the book and year have both had a huge impact on modern society.
