o A local non-profit organizationo Been around for over 50 yearso Sole purpose: Help families and people
in need to have an awesome holiday season!
o They do this by:- Running a ‘store’ where families can shop, free of
charge, for: toys, clothing, winter wear, food, and other household items
*Last year over 500 families were helped by the Christmas Anonymous store!
- Using donations to buy food, gifts, clothing, and necessities for families and group homes-Providing seniors with boxes of food and other goods
Some Items Donated to the Christmas Anonymous Store
o JM has been donating to Christmas Anonymous since 1973!
o Students raise money through various events and activities
o The money donated by JM students goes to help Christmas Anonymous provide toys, clothing, food, and many other things
to people in need
o Participate in as many activities as you can throughout the weeks of Christmas Anonymous!
o Some activities taking place this year:
-Broomball-Paranoia-Rent a senior-Raffle-Date with Royalty-Pie a teacher-Powderbuff-Morning Cocoa and Doughnut Sales
-Survivor-Tunnel Tours-Penny Wars-Caroling-Saran wrapping-Chicks & dudes in a van
& many more!!
o Donate to the Christmas Anonymous donation center!
-Located at Christ United Methodist Church (400 5th Ave SW)-Donations taken Nov. 29-Dec. 3, from 8 am to 4
pm-Also from 9 am to 12 pm on Dec. 4-Items needed: gently used toys, boots, coats,
skates
o KTTC Toy Drive!-Saturday, Dec. 4
-New toys and games needed
o Volunteer to help out!o Saturday, December 11th
