A passion for food is a must, but you need more to succeed—business skills, knowledge about franchises and budgets, and the successful application of innovative design.

The first of its kind in the U.S., our event management program teaches you to plan and execute a wide variety of events including intimate gatherings, conferences, conventions, meetings and weddings.
Requiring attention to detail and creativity, this program is enhanced by curriculum that delves even deeper, covering areas from food management and marketing to risk management and communications.

Rosen College provides unique educational experience and industry exposure for those who are passionate about the hospitality industry.
You will be required to complete paid hospitality work experiences that allow you to apply the knowledge you’re gaining in the classroom. Through three internship courses, you will gain major-related work experience, access to professional relationships, and clarification of your academic and career goals.
Twice per year, we host a career and experiential learning fair. You will be able to connect with 60-plus employers who are seeking students for internships, part-time opportunities and full-time employment in the industry.

THE CAMPUS VISIT EXPERIENCE
See Rosen College’s resort-style campus for yourself. The Rosen Campus Visit Experience includes an information session with an admissions representative, as well as a tour of the campus and the Rosen College Apartments.
Rosen College tours take place Mondays and Fridays at 1 p.m., except on holidays and semester breaks. Reservations are advised. To reserve a tour, go to hospitality.ucf.

THE UCF AND ROSEN CAMPUS VISIT EXPERIENCE
You can tour both the UCF main campus and the Rosen College campus the same day. Plan your visit to UCF’s Orlando campus on a Monday or Friday at 10 a.m. Following that tour, you can visit Rosen College for the 1 p.m. campus tour. Each visit offers an information session, followed by a walking tour. UCF tour reservations are required and can be made at admissions.ucf.edu/visit.
