ASN Foundation
• The ASN Foundation is designed to supplement the
activities of the Society itself by deepening the ways in
which ASN supports the field of nutrition science, and by
strengthening our global efforts to promote nutrition and
public health.

Committee Appointments Process
- ASN volunteer year is June 1-May 31
- Members are invited to respond to a Call for Volunteers in the first quarter each year
- Most committee slots are appointed by the President for a three-year term
- Committee appointments are renewable once (max. term: 6 years)
- Typical committee positions are Chair, Vice Chair, Past Chair, Member
- Some ex-officio positions exist
