The Siosepol also known as ‘The Bridge of 33 Arches’ in Isfahan is the city's longest pedestrian bridge over the Zayandeh Rud with a total length of 297.76 metres (976.9 ft).

The most famous Persiandescription of the city of Isfahan is“Esfahan Nesf-e Jahan” whichmeans Isfahan is half of theworld, which the Isfahanis coinedin the 16th century to express thecity’s grandeur.
According to the World Bank, over60% of Iran’s population isestimated to be under the age of30. As a result, some 750,000youth are estimated to enter thelabor market every year. It isestimated that some 150,000Iranians with tertiary educationleave the country every year.
Iran is the second largesteconomy in the Middle East andNorth Africa (MENA) region afterSaudi Arabia and has the secondlargest population in the regionafter Egypt, an estimated 80.8million people (July 2014).
The Masjed-e Shah or Shah Mosque stands on the south side of Naghsh-e Jahan Square. The entrance-iwan (gateway – pictured below) to the mosque takes the form of a semicircle, resembling a recessed half-moon and measures 27 meters in height.

The Bazaar of Isfahan is a historical market and one of the oldest and largest bazaars of the Middle East. It is a vaulted, two kilometer street linking the old city with the new.

The Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque located in the historic Naghsh-i Jahan Square in Isfahan took
16 years to construct and is regarded as one of the architectural masterpieces of Safavid
Iranian architecture.

Global Leaders Programme (GLP) in Dubai & Iran
Module 1 Venue: Dubai Marine Beach Resort and Spa
Module One provides a platform for highly interactive discussion and debate on the role of global business, evolving regional dynamics, growth drivers, changingdemographics and resource scarcity issues among others. Global executive participants will be joined by local Iranian participants from business, government andcivil society, allowing for rich mutual learning.

Developing a Semirom Apple Company
Module Two involves a real world field project in the abundant agriculturalregion of Semirom, 100km south of Isfahan wherein participants will propose anew business in processing, packaging and export of apple products. Localpartners include the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, Semirom Farmers Union andAgricultural Bank of Iran.
