The Co-op Option
In third and fourth year, students alternate between academic terms and work terms.
By graduation, students have 12 months of work experience with as many as three different employers.

• Have completed the majority of 2nd year required CS courses, with not less than 54 credit hours passed
• Your GPA is important, but it’s not everything. Our minimum requirement is a 2.5 cumulative GPA

Inuktun Services Ltd.Inuktun Services Ltd. and the Human-Computer Interaction Lab here at the UofM have partnered on a cutting-edge research project: building touch screen interfaces for robots. On this work term you will make a multi-touch interface on a Microsoft Surface to remote control a robotic camera as shown on the right. You will be located in beautiful Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, where Inuktun designs and builds their custom robots, and will work closely but remotely with a UofM research team.
