Learning with Faith and Love
COLD WEATHER NOTES: Students ARE REQUIRED to be outside before the morning bell, during morning
recess, and after eating their lunch. This is understandably difficult for students who do not have mittens,
scarves, toques, or warm jackets, and girls who have bare legs. Please ensure students have appropriate
outdoor clothing, including snow pants if they want to play on the snow hills. The policy for keeping students
indoors is below -15 with wind chill.
Please Note for Mornings: Students are not permitted to enter the school in the morning until the bell rings at
8:30 (unless below -15). Please consider this when choosing your drop-off time.
IMPORTANT - IDLING VEHICHLES: The cold weather has also caused some parents to keep their vehicles idling at
pick-up time, creating some very unsafe air for students and adults alike. Please, NO IDLING in our parking lot!!
Thank you for cooperating to make the outdoors enjoyable and safe for our children.

5 Reasons to Buy Gift Cards from the
School for ALL your shopping needs:
1. When you use gift cards instead of cash to pay
for things you’re planning to buy anyway, those
stores will give a percentage back to the school.
2. Grocery Cards (Superstore, Saveon, G&H),
Starbuck’s and Tim Hortons Cards are always on
hand in the office, meaning you can stop in at the
last minute before your grocery or coffee trip and
grab a card, then go shop feeling great that
you’ve helped the school without spending any
extra money!
3. It’s easy Shopping for birthday gifts, etc.
4. You can use your debit card, cheque, or cash to
pay for your cards.
5. The wonderful parent volunteers will be selling in
the lobby after school on Fridays, watch for them!
The Shopping Card program is an important
source of funds, which the school depends on in
order to fund extra projects. If you don’t normally
buy cards, please consider having a look at the
order form, choosing a few, and seeing how it
goes. There is a multitude of stores, restaurants
and services to choose from.
Thank you for supporting your students!
