EnergyAssistancehastwoseparateprogramsthathelpresidentswithheatingandcoolingcosts.Theprogramusesdifferentapplicationsthatarebasedonincome.Paymentsaremadedirectlytoheating/coolingcompaniesforelectricity,gas,wood,propaneorkerosene.Pre‐screeningbeginsat7:30a.m.attheSwinburneBuilding.Theseprogramsserveanaverageof60peopledaily.CrisisInterventionProgram(CIP):CIPhelpseligibleresidentsinaheatingorcoolingemergency.Theremustbea inal/disconnectionnotice.PeoplemakingequalpaymentsontheaccountorwithanextensiontopaythebillARENOTELIGIBLEforCIP.
