She was born Jan. 29,1915, in Holy Cross, thedaughter of the lateWilliam Arthur andMary Joseph “Josie”Hagan Newton.

She is preceded indeath by her three hus-bands, Carl B. Comer,Leo Boone and ThomasP. Filiatreau; one step-son, Ricky Boone; threegranddaughters,Theresa Smith, Angie S.Gibson, Denise C.Simpson; and three sis-ters, Thelma N. Hayden,Vivian N. Nelson andRuth N. Lyon.

She is survived by oneson, Don (Mary Ann)Comer of Bardstown;two daughters, Rita C.Smith of Hodgenvilleand Ginger C. Luzon ofLouisville; one fosterdaughter, MarthaBianco of Ill.; eight step-sons, Jerry (Jean) Booneand Bob (Cecilie) Booneboth of Howardstown,Joe Newman Boone,Johnny (Elaine)Filiatreau, Joe (Sharon)Filiatreau, Pat (Vicky)Filiatreau, all ofBardstown, Paul (Vicky)Filiatreau of Stantonand Bill (Beth)Filiatreau of Louisville;nine stepdaughters,

She was retired fromNelson County Board ofEducation as a bus driv-er for 30 years.

She was born May 10,1948, in Marion County,the daughter of the lateBenjamin Robert andGeraldine Price Harris.

In addition to her par-ents, she is also preced-ed in death by her step-father, MatthewDobson; two brothers,Larry Harris and RobertErnest Harris; and twinsisters, Flora Harris andDora Harris.

She is survived by herhusband, CharlesEdward Reed ofHodgenville; one son,

Glenn Reed of NewHaven; one daughter,Charlotte (Lloyd) Deversof Hodgenville; threebrothers, Robert LewisHarris and RobertJoseph Harris, both ofNew Haven, and RickyLynn Harris ofHodgenville; two sisters,Claudine (Billie) Bell ofRaywick and BarbaraAnn (Ricky) Newton ofBardstown; six grand-children; one greatgrandchild; and severalnieces, nephews, cousinsand friends.

Vernon Wilson, 93, ofUpton, died March 17,2012.

He is survived by asister, Jeanette Farley.

The family chose cre-mation.
