Ratio Mark-up:
• The method of calculating price based on the wholesale cost of items, simply doubling, tripling the wholesale price.
![Page 5: 4 9 pricing ratio](https://reader035.vdocument.in/reader035/viewer/2022062307/55542839b4c90572068b4c94/html5/thumbnails/5.jpg)
For example:
• 1 rose = $.85 wholesale• 3x mark-up =• $.85 X 3= $2.55• Can be customized by business• Can use graduated scale so cheap flowers are
marked up more and expensive flowers less.– Flowers costing less than $.50 are marked up 4X– Flowers costing more than $2.00 are marked up 2X
