FAQs
I’m completely new to social media – will I be lost? Absolutely not. The program is designed to help those with no experience to quickly acquire the skills they need for success. To help you prepare we’ll provide pre-‐work to help familiarize you with the basics. The program is comprehensive and will give you everything you need to be successful. We have lots of time for Q&A so that you can also get all of your questions answered. What is the schedule for the year and where can I find dates and locations? We offer the Boot Camp multiple times a year in different locations around the US. You can find the complete schedule at: www.BootCampDigital.com/digital-‐marketing-‐workshop Is the program appropriate for global participants? Will this be relevant if I am not located in the US? Previous participants have come from around the globe to learn digital marketing. Most of the principles and tools we cover are relevant regardless of your location. With the exception of China (which does not allow any of the traditional social networks to be used), most global participants find the content to be relevant to them. If you are unsure, check out the outline to see if the content we cover matches the social networks and digital marketing tools that are relevant for your location.
How long does the program run? The program runs from 9:00 am – 5:30 pm each day. Participants should arrive at 8:45 so they are ready for a 9:00 start time. We host a happy hour for participants on the FIRST day and THIRD day (totally optional) and an extended Q&A period on the SECOND day and FOURTH day.
What should I bring? Bring yourself, something to take notes on (you’ll take a TON) and be ready to learn!!! We’ll provide you with an ipad mini (which is yours to keep) to use during the class for the activities. Feel free to bring and use your own laptop computer if you prefer.
What is the food situation? We will feed you ;-‐) We’ll have coffee and breakfast treats in the morning (granola bars, muffins, etc), snacks throughout the day (healthyish and some indulgences) and lunch. You’ll be able to choose your lunch selection in the morning, so don’t worry about any dietary concerns.
What are the Happy Hours? The happy hours give you some time to unwind, connect with instructors and network with other participants. They are optional, but drinks are on us. Participants usually enjoy the opportunity to connect with others, interact with instructors and relax at the end of the day.

Can I only attend 2 days?
Yes. We recommend the entire 4 days to really understand all aspects of digital marketing and how they work together, but you can choose to only attend either of the 2-‐day segments. Where is the Boot Camp? Do you have details for each location?
Yes. All of our Boot Camps are located in the center of the city so there are many hotels, restaurants and attractions within walking distance. For each location we provide the details about the specific location as well as hotel recommendations (if any). We find that many participants prefer to book their own hotels based on their preferred brands. How do I know if the Content is any Good?

How Does this Compare to a Conference or Convention?
We attend and speak at many conferences and conventions – they are great places to improve your skills and learn from experts. The challenge is that a conference usually has multiple speakers sharing big ideas – so you’ll get lots of ideas and inspiration, but you won’t get training and education.
The Boot Camp covers everything you need to know to improve your skills and get results in an organized and comprehensive way. This means that you leave with everything you know PLUS you get tools and templates to guide your implementation.

What are the “Open Q&A sessions”? Our goal is for you to leave the Boot Camp with all of your questions answered. The Q&A time is your chance to have all of your questions answered by trainers and get any personal assistance that you need. At the end of the second and fourth days we host an optional Q&A session where you can ask any questions that you have and we’ll answer them. Do I have to attend all 4 days? No. You can choose to attend either the first 2 days (online marketing), second 2 days (social media) or the entire 4-‐day program. You’ll save by attending the entire 4-‐day program (it offers the best value). You can view the outlines to see exactly what we cover each day. Do you have group discounts? YES!!!! If you are registering more than one person we can offer a discount. Many organizations register their entire team. Contact us to receive our discounted group pricing information.
What if I have questions after the class? We give you 3 months of access to our online training when you register for the program. The online training allows you to refresh your knowledge when you are back in the workplace. We also have an exclusive online discussion forum for Boot Camp participants where you can learn from other social media marketers as well as the Boot Camp Digital trainers. We also host a monthly Q&A call where we answer all of your questions once a month. You’ll get the support you need after the program.
How many people are in the class? We limit the class size to 20 so that you have an intimate experience and can get all of your questions answered. This isn’t a giant mega-‐conference.
