LECTURE “Paper Aeroplane and Other Vehicles”October 15 (Thursday) 7:30 p.m.Simon Armitage, poet and recently elected professor of poetry at the University of Oxford, presents a tour of his own work, from dramatizations of ancient texts to urban myths of the modern world, via his acclaimed translations of medieval epics such as Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and The Death of King Arthur.
