Our parish has purchased a
building in Edgewood near Saint
Elizabeth Ann Seton Church to
serve as a hall, meeting, and
activities place for the entire
parish. This is a big undertaking and serves a need,
especially in the northwest area of the parish. We are
taking a loan from the Archdiocese to help pay for it. The
money in the Building Fund envelopes will go towards
paying off the loan and expenses for the building. In
addition, we are asking for donations to help with startup
costs. I believe this project will help us serve the parish in
new and better ways. May God bless it, bless all who
donate, and bless our whole parish. Thank you. Fr.

PRAYER CORNER
Blessing of Students in Faith Formation
Eternal God, your wisdom is beyond our understanding,
yet it is revealed to us in the life and love of Jesus, your
Son. Bless these daughters and sons of yours who have
answered your call to grow in faith. Enlighten them with
your word and fill them with your spirit that they may
follow the path that leads to your wisdom. Open their eyes
that they may see your presence each day, open their ears
that they may hear your voice in unexpected places, open
their minds that they may understand the mystery of your
love, and open their hearts that they may be joyful
companions with us as we continue to grow in likeness to
the mind of Christ. Grant this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

St. Vincent de Paul said that he knew “God had sent him to bring good news to the poor”. By your volunteering, you help to carry out St. Vincent de Paul’s mission. Thank you.
PLEASE PRAY THE ROSARY EVERY DAY
In today’s Gospel, Jesus asks “Do you also want to
leave?” We must ask ourselves if we really want to hear
the good news of His love for us and for others. Is the word
of God able to break into our consciousness, change us
and call us to hear the cries of the poor? This month,
through your gifts, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul
was able to hear the cries of the poor by assisting
families with their utility bills. God Bless You!
