OBJECTIVES OF THE INSTITUTE
The main objective of the IETL is to work for a better approach to problems expe-rienced in the fi eld of international road traffi c law and a harmonisation of practices in all areas of law by:
> Promoting the exchange of European know-how and practical experiences
> Off ering a platform for discussion at the highest level between main European
stakeholders
> Pursuing dialogue with European deci-sion makers
> Suggesting changes in the applicable law at European community level
> Financing a grant for studies in the area of private international law
