Workshops in the FCLThe Science Projects Workshops in the Future Classroom Lab (SPW@FCL) bring together STEM teachers working on different EC funded projects. The programme always includes general sessions designed by the lead project, as well as presentations by the collaborating projects. Parallel sessions with specific programmes for each project also take place. The workshops encourage the integration of the projects’ content and best practices into the setting and facilities of the FCL.
The 1st SPW@FCL (14 - 16 September 2012) was organized in the framework of the first Scientix, in collaboration with Global excursion and inGenious. 50 people including teachers and science education practitioners (partners in EC funded projects) participated in the workshop.
The 2nd SPW@FCL (19 – 21 April, 2013) was organized by inGenious and with the collaboration of nanOpinion, eTwinning and Scientix. This event brought together 77 science teachers, career counsellors, industry representatives and project partners.
