Tupac was alive for a total of 7 days after he was shot. In an induced coma, he clung to life amidst death threats, undercover FBI agents and a non responsive Police force. Most people are unaware of the tumultuous last week in the life of Tupac. At the same time, most people are unaware of the revolutionary environment, he was cultivated in. This documentary series gives a voice to the voiceless that have yet to be heard from.
Given the current success of urban content (Straight Out Of Compton, Empire) and the relevancy of todays ongoing civil rights issues and how they factored into Tupac message, the timing for this doc series is ideal. 25 years & 7Dayz is an accounting of the life of Tupac Amaru Shakur told through the experience in the last week of his life, by his friends, family, inner circle and the long list of artist and celebrities that were effected and moved by Tupac’s life and death.

Series BudgetThe film’s budget, including all development, production, post-production, and delivery costs, of the “25 Years and 7Dayz Documentary Series and soundtrack estimated at $2.1M
Traditionally, the life of a film is broken down into six phases:
• Development• Pre-production• Production• Post-production• Distribution• Exhibition/Exploitation
The Producers aim to produce the film in the states, as well as internationally, with the most aggressive film incentive programs (refer to Tax Considerations section for additional details), which, through tax rebates and credits, can reduce production expenditures by as much as 30%.
The film’s production advisors have considerable experience in creating the most conservative production budgets possible, while protecting the creative integrity and cast value of each film. The key production personnel have histories well known in the entertainment community. These personnel (Line Producers, Cinematographers, Production Designers, Composers, and the like) are placed into positions of great responsibility according to their historic abilities to control costs, while maintaining high production value.
High quality, moderately budgeted urban Documentary films and series are especially sought after by worldwide buyers.
The large number of celebrity endorsements and involvement in this series, as well as the never before stories about Tupac, allow this Documentary series to be life no other.
Distribution
The motion picture industry is highly competitive, with much of a film's success depending on the skill of its distribution strategy. As independent producers with a privately funded, high-quality product, the Production Entity is ideally positioned to negotiate with major distributors for the distribution and wide release of “25 years & 7 Dayz”
It is the goal of the producers of Coup to do “output” distribution deals with selected studios, in order to control finances and creativity that are commonly problematic through the studio system. With this distribution strategy in place, the producers and financiers have control over accounting, production, and the creative aspects of the film, all the while harnessing the well established studio system’s distribution machine.
