The Scholarship
Makomborero seeks to identify suitable candidates capable
of university entrance to some of the more competitive
degree courses. In 2020 we will be offering up to eight full
scholarships to study A-levels at an excellent Harare based
private school and 10 scholarships at local A’Level schools
and thus provide the chosen students with the resources to
achieve their goals where they may have fallen short through
financial hardship and/or not having access to well-resourced
A-level facilities in their current schools. As part of the
scholarship scheme the students will be expected to assist with
the on going community work in local Government schools.
The scholarship will include:

o The final selection process will be completed by January 2020 and will be before the actual
O-level results have been published.

that fall outside of the strict academic requirements.
o Makomborero welcomes any application from government school students that feel
he/she can clearly demonstrate the passion and potential to achieve top grades in their
chosen A-level subjects.
