Special election to authorize renewal ofadditional levies for the fiscal yearsbeginning July 1, 2019, July 1, 2020, July1, 2021, July 1, 2022 and July 1, 2023,and for the purpose listed according to theOrder of the Board of Education enteredon the 16th day of July, 2018.

To continue to provide for free textbooks,Subject Matter materials, media materials,teaching equipment and instructionalsupplies at an annual approximateamount of $1,902,673.00

To maintain salaries of professionalPersonnel,dental/optical insurance, andother benefits at an annual approximateamount of $6,476,101.00

To provide for continuous maintenance ofbuildings and upgrading of transportationfleet at an annual approximate amount of$2,743,785.00

To maintain salaries of service personnel,dental/optical insurance and otherbenefits, at an annual approximateamount of $4,118,369.00

To provide technology, capital andinfrastructure Upgrades at an annualapproximate amount of $2,200,000.00

The renewal additional levy, per OneHundred Dollar assessed valuation, shallbe as follows:

MARION COUNTY COMMISSIONSPECIAL ELECTION TO AUTHORIZE

ADDITIONAL LEVY

A special election to authorize additionallevy for the fiscal years beginning July 1,2019, July 1, 2020, July 1, 2021 and July1, 2022 for the Marion County VolunteerFire Departments, in the amount of$780,000.00 annually and $3,120,000.00the term of the levy according to the Orderof the Marion County Commission enteredon the 8th day of August, 2018.

That the additional rate of levy in centsper hundred dollars of assessed valuationon each class of property shall be:

Class I .93 centsClass II 1.86 centsClass III 3.72 centsClass IV 3.72 cents

In the event the separate and aggragateassessed value of each class of taxableproperty within the County increase duringthe term of the special excess levy, thelevy shall be reduced so that the projectedtax collection will not exceed $780,000.00in any fiscal year.
