A project library
What’s on Eric Woodcock’s bookshelves
This might be called a bibliography, but in fact it is the collection of project-related books, films and
so on which I possess.
These resources are labelled in Harvard reference style, which is how they should be cited in any
academic or published work. The books are the editions on your author’s book shelf; they are often
later paperback versions rather than original hardbacks. Some of the titles, especially text books, will
not be the latest editions. Harvard purists expect to see the authors’ names in capital letters, and up
to three authors to be named, but I think this can make the citation harder to read. In any case, the
whole point of a referencing system is to allow you to find the particular work quickly and that is the
acid test of whether the reference is helpful.

Television programmes
Unfortunately television programmes are generally only available for short periods of time. Sites like
BBC iPlayer will make programmes available for around 30 days, and some programmes find their way
on to sites like YouTube. Some television stations will sell recordings but these tend to be pretty
expensive. That said, here are a few programmes which stand out, if you can find them.
