7. Sub Committee Reports
7.1 Market Report – See Appendix 7.2 Promotions & Marketing – (Hazel) To promote Century 21 Southcoast (Shelley Bezuidenhout). Martin to follow up with Radio 5ZZZ in relation to possible promotion of ABBTA members as a bulk package. 7.2.1 Logo/Branding Update: Tony and Shelley advised too much white space, waves not clear, the spray is being “lost”. Roma advised same thing prior to meeting. Resolved that Martin and Hazel will advise Barnaby to tweak. 7.3 Events – Networking – Martin advised: Aldinga On Display, TDU and Sellicks Motorcycles Races coming up.

8.1 Members running of forthcoming July Market: Ivan, Daniel, Matt, Jess to assist
9. Other Business
9.1 FAF: To continue discussion with Toff West. Background is that Toff proposed FAF run from December to January for nine occasions based on 3-4 meeting with his subcommittee. Wanted to know how much ABBTA requires - $100 per week? Elise not interested in being coordinator this time around. Hazel and Martin advised community and businesses want longer presence as well as Aldinga on Display, Sellicks motorcycles races on October 21 and February 17 respectively, can be taken advantage of. 9.2 Aldinga Eco Village Precinct and market: Martin advised talking to Lou to enable Eco Village participation in ABBTA Sunday Market 9.3 Grants (Martin): To resume application for a grant for a van and any other useful grants. 9.4 Business Awards 9.5 WFD Progress Update (Martin): To renew Ivan Nikolic’s contract. 9.6 Progress of Office: Tony and Shelley suggested Aldinga Community Centre. Martin to follow up with Hazel. Martin asked Carly if available to assist inside office in relation to her programs, mentorship, etc. Carly said yes. 9.7 Eileen Lubiana Grant for art project Aldinga/Sellicks: Martin to discuss with Eileen and Hazel 9.8 Andrea Fraser filmmaker: Martin to look for a grant, discuss with Hazel. Invite Andrea to next meeting. 9.9 Godfather Visit Seaford Kindergarten (Matt & Steven): Matt advised this went very well. Godfather had a two minute rest then went ahead. 9.10 AGM location and date (expected September 21st). Promo Southern Times. Up for further discussion. 9.11 Jess Sweet proposed new Facebook Forum: to be discussed later. 9.12 Petrol Cards: Hazel to give out at the AGM 9.13 Daniel and Ivan: App Idea – Daniel to advise around AGM time. 9.14 Ivan, Cows for Cambodia: return and address at next meeting 9.15 Christmas Pageant: In progress, unsure if ABBTA will assist, Hazel to report back. 9.16 Hazel’s attendance at Future of Communities Conference. Hazel put forward the motion that ABBTA pay for her accommodation and attendance at “Future of Communities Conference” in Melbourne, Sept 14-15, up to the amount of $1000, with Hazel paying for flights. Motion was seconded by Martin and passed. 9.17 Hazel mooted the idea of ABBTA auspicing the Christmas Pageant. Response from committee was positive and now awaiting info. re. pageant committee being finalised. Contact is Anne Chittleborough. 9.18 Market Signs Modification by Daniel: Daniel to produce engineering drawing of fold up market roadside sign. If approved, construct one. Test it. Do others if successful.

Market Report ABBTA Market Report June 26th 2016 Cold day 13 C, approx. 200-300 attendees. Raffle, Coffee/Tea and Cake Stall: run by Jess, Ivan and Daniel. Matt assisted during start and end of market. Float: $180.70 Total: $200.30 (199.80 was counted by Daniel & Ivan?) Profit: $19.60 <— banking Raffle was composed entirely of stall holder donations. Reason for relatively low profit was low visitor attendance. Winner was Ivan. Cash received: $285 +$13 (insurance) = $298 Online: $0 Total: $298 $298.00 <— banking Karen Smith became an ABBTA member in order to be insured Notes: Heather Sanders advised that Blackwood market has soup and cakes made by people in church group also a guitar player and works well. Perhaps approach Men’s Shed to assist and obtain more visors then by WOM or ask Church group? Lou of Lou’s shack visited and placed his cards on table. He advised away for one month and can discuss possible Eco Village input into market upon return. Chook’s Little Winery Tours visited the market and I saw a person from Aged Care, visit. First market where we promoted it as an event and shared to a number of Facebook groups. The hall was shut down by 2.30pm and all items in storage by 2.53pm - a new record - thanks to everyone for help. Even those who haven't been happy at the last few. Reminder for 10am winter start.
Need pens texta a raffle sign with prices. A box to draw raffle extension cord for urn. I will look into large table skirt or cloth for raffle table so it looks better. Great day all looking forward to the next market.
